III. Scholarship policy for international students
CVCPT warmly welcome international students. The students who study in CVCPT can apply for the following scholarships:
1. CVCPT will help students apply for the 2019 Chongqing Municipal Government Mayor Scholarship. All eligible students can apply for it. The exact amount shall be subject to the examination and approval of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission.
2. For top 30% students, CVCPT will award the CVCPT President Scholarship with a Standard of 2000RMB to the students of fine qualities and fine scholar.
3. Students who pass the test of HSK level 4 and the Chinese examination of CVCPT can receive a one-time reward of 6000 RMB.
IV. Graduation certificate
1. Students of Non-degree Education who complete the courses and pass the examinations can acquire the course-completion certificate by CVCPT.
2. Students of Academic Education who complete the courses and pass the examinations can acquire the course credits of mutual recognition by CVCPT and Thai cooperative colleges, and 2 academic certificates, one from CVCPT and another from the foreign college.
3. Teachers of Railway-training Program who complete the courses and pass the examinations can acquire the course-completion certificates.
4. If students want to apply for a further study for the undergraduate diploma (bachelor's degree), CVCPT can offer a two-year undergraduate education of co-cultivation with universities of Chongqing.
V. Application materials
Students of non-degree education and academic education need to submit the following materials:
1. The “Application Form for Foreign Students of Chongqing Vocational College of Public Transport”;
2. 1 copy of the original resume;
3. The final academic certificate or 1 copies of the original school certificate.
4. 1 copy of transcripts.
5. The original foreigner's physical examination record.
6. 1 scanning copy of valid passport (home page).
7. 1 original of “Certification of No Illegal Behavior”.
8. 1 copy of the original letter of recommendation from the school leader or teacher.
9. 1 electronic identification photo in the past three months.
Training teachers need to submit the following materials:
1. “The Application Form for Foreign Students of Chongqing Vocational College of Public Transportation”.
2. 1 original of the dispatch letter from the working unit.
3. 1 original resume.
4. 1 original certificate of employment.
5. 1 original of the foreigner's physical examination record.
6. 1 scanning copy of valid passport (home page)
7. 1 original of “Certification of No Illegal Behavior ”
8. 1 letter of recommendation from the school leader or teacher.
The above application materials should be prepared as scanning electronic versions of documents. Please send them to International cooperation office of CVCPY by e-mail (cqvcpt@sina.com) before July 15.
IV. Enrollment procedure:
1. Applicants consult information and get documents from CVCPT by e-mail or telephone.
2. Applicants submit application (including the recommendation letter from his/her principal) to CVCPT.
3. CVCPT inspects applicant’s qualification, and takes pre-registration fee about 1200RMB. (The exact fee depends on situations)
4. CVCPT sends admission notice and Visa application for study in China to applicants.
5. Applicants apply for X1-visa in embassy of PRC in Thailand.
6. Applicants register at CVCPT in Chongqing, China.
7. Applicants submit the passport copy and the physical check form to CVCPT.
8. Applicants pay tuition fee 6000RMB.
9. Applicants register for accommodation.
10. Applicants take Chinese level test.
11. CVCPT applies for Residence Permit for Applicants.
12. Enrollment has finished and Study begins.
V. Physical check requirement
Applicants are required to be healthy, without achromatopsia, hypochromatopsia, body disability, mental disease, heart disease, hypertensive disease, liver disease and infectious disease. The vision of eyes should be over 1.0 naturally by E table standard, and male stocking feet should be over 168cm naturally, female over 158cm naturally, looking and body figure should be normal and healthy (This requirement sticks to the standard of recruiting new staffs in Railway Company in China; it can be a reference for students).
