On the afternoon of 27th September, 2017, Chongqing Vocational College of Public Transportation held the closing ceremony and project summary meeting of Senior Management Seminar on Public Transport in Yangon, Myanmar in training center on the third floor of library. More than 70 people of Cheng Long, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chen Jing, General Manager of Human Resources Department, Yuan Yi, General Manager of Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group Co, Ltd. , leaders, department heads,  teachers' representative from Chongqing Vocational College of Public Transportation and all students in  the seminar have attended the closing ceremony.

At the ceremony, Peng Wenhua, Director Development Planning and Foreign Cooperation Department, on behalf of Seminar Work Office gave a summary report. He said that the seminar project is a high-level training program for foreign government officials and corporate executives for the first time in cooperation with state-owned enterprises in Chongqing.  It is also the first implementation of Chongqing Municipal People's Government Foreign Student Mayor Scholarship Silk Road Project. The project aims to train senior management and technical talents in urban public transport for Myanmar. Subsequently, he summarized the various safeguard systems established by the college to ensure the implementation of this project, shared the achievements and experience of the project, and explained the far-reaching significance of the project.

Kar Kyaw, Manager of Operations Department of Yangon Provincial Transportation Department, Khin Maung Soe, Operation Manager of Yangon City Transportation Co., Ltd., and Nay Linn, Operation Manager of Myanmar Asia Star Intelligent Transportation Co., Ltd. spoke as representatives of the seminar. They expressed their gratitude to Chongqing Municipal Government, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group, and Chongqing Vocational College of Public Transportation for their efforts in the seminar. They think that the training is very effective because students not only increased their knowledge, but also expanded their horizons and realized the profound Chinese culture. They said that after returning to Myanmar, they would apply the knowledge learned in Chongqing to the practice of public transportation construction in Yangon Province by combining local traffic situation in Yangon Province, so as to promote the reform and development of Yangon's public transportation.

Cheng Long, Deputy Secretary of Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group Co, Ltd., congratulated the students on their successful completion and said that the training was of great significance. The students are not only the first batch of senior management and technical talents who bring the advanced transportation concept back to Myanmar, but also the first practitioners to manage and operate intelligent public transportation management system products developed by Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group's technology companies for Myanmar. Students are pioneers in promoting the leap-forward development of Myanmar transportation industry and “The Belt and Road” builders. He hoped that the two parties would adhere to the principle of "peaceful cooperation, openness and tolerance, mutual learning and mutual benefit" to further deepen cooperation and lay a more solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties in railways around the city, straddle-type monorail, one-way system and personnel training.

During the ceremony, President Zhao Yuewang expressed his heartfelt congratulations to all the students for passing the final exam and achieving excellent results. He issued completion certificates to all the students.
